Bloomer's Pink Night

On Thursday we played at Bloomer. We knew that Bloomer would be a tough opponent, but went into the games knowing that we had worked on many of the skills we needed to. Our C-team made great improvements from playing Bloomer in the Quad on Tuesday. While they still lost their match, we were very proud of how they played. Scores for Cteam were 13-25, 16-25, and 6-25. JV came out a little quiet and couldn't quite gain back the excitement. They lost their match 10-25-, 2-25, and 4-25. We will make some more adjustments this week and get ready for Hayward on Tuesday in Cteam and JV's last regular season game. JV and Cteam will host a Quad on October 13th in Spooner also.

Varsity was pumped up heading in to the game and ready to play in Bloomer's pink night. During the week we collaborated with Bloomer and decided to both wear our pink jerseys and pink socks in support of a cure for breast cancer. We had made some changes to our rotation and even with our excitement we still could not quite play our best games. Varsity lost the match We will continue to work on some key skills in the next week. Scores were 6-25, 11-25 and 7-25. We host our pink night on Tuesday against Hayward and invite all to wear pink in support of the cure for breast cancer. We will head to Chetek on Saturday, October 10th for the Conference Tournament. We hope all will come out for this important HON tournament. We play the second part of the conference tournament on Thursday, October 15th at Spooner.
