Amery Scrimmage

On Saturday, August 22nd we scrimmaged at Amery. We started by playing Amery. Next we played Plum City, and played our final match against Glenwood City. Overall we did a great job, being our first time on the court as a team. I think we competed right along with each team. We are a young team with only one senior, and only two returning varsity. Our young players have worked hard all summer and have filled in the gaps very well. Kayla Boutwell and Taylor Shutt will begin the season as our captains. We are also looking to Jenna Curtis and Meagan VanderHeyden to be leaders on the team. Our theme this year is "Work hard, play hard." We will continue to work on perfecting our skills and focus on playing team defense and offense.
